Sound Practical Task

 Video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOVM44mu8y8

The first part of video consists of clips taken from the Blitz club in London which was during the early 80s. The second part of the video contains clips from protests (about the Vietnam and American war) in America during the 70s. These relate to each other since once the 70s ended people felt they needed an escape from the sadness of the state of the world and the escaped they used was clubbing. The song I used was "Venus" by Bananarama. During the first half of the video the music is parallel since Bananarama was played often in the Blitz and was very popular in early 80s clubs. In the second half of the video the music is contrapuntal since the upbeat music doesn't play along with the grief and sorrow displayed during the protests.
