Factsheet #132: British Film 1.) I'd define British media to be films made within Britain however they must also be directed and filmed by British companies, this also includes having a British cast.  2.) British films usually hold a much lower production value compared to Hollywood productions due to its more limited funding. Hollywood productions also rely heavily on celebrities staring in their productions and they usually have spectacle driven stories which isn't as common in British media.  3.) The James Bond franchise started within 1962.  4.) Throughout the 1970's media productions seemed to have an uprise in sexual and violent content.
